Matters to be Considered After Implant Surgery
- Bite the tampon in your mouth for 1 hour.
- There may be bleeding in the form of leakage in your mouth after the surgery. Avoid activities such as rinsing your mouth and spitting. Do not suck on the surgical site and do not tamper with your tongue.
- Avoid hot foods and beverages for 3 days after the surgery.
- Prefer warm and soft foods.
- Do not consume cigarettes, alcoholic and carbonated drinks for 1 week after the surgery.
- Use the drugs prescribed by your doctor regularly. Start using mouthwash 1 day after the operation. Do not use any blood thinner medicine such as aspirin, other than those prescribed by your doctor.
- It is expected that pain, swelling and bruising may occur after the surgery.
- The swelling that may occur is expected to disappear within a week.
- On the day of the surgery, apply the ice given to you after the surgery to the relevant area with five–minute intervals.
- You can brush the surgical area with a soft brush the day after the surgery without damaging the relevant area.
