Warnings to be Considered After Tooth Extraction
- Bite the tampon for half an hour.
- Do not eat anything until the numbness in your mouth is gone.
- In case of hunger, you can drink cold drinks.
- Do not use a straw during the day of tooth extraction.
- Do not spit during the day of tooth extraction.
- Do not consume hot food and drink on the day of tooth extraction.
- Do not consume very hard foods, spicy foods, grainy foods (such as rice), and acidic beverages on the day of tooth extraction.
- Do not consume cigarettes or alcohol within 24 hours after tooth extraction.
- During the day of tooth extraction, do not rinse your mouth frequently and do not gargle.
- Use a soft brush for at least 2 days to clean the extraction area and be careful not to irritate the extraction wound.
- For pain that may occur after tooth extraction, you can use painkillers that do not have blood-thinning properties. Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin.
